Karahipi Tumuaki - The President's (Maori) ScholarshipOne Scholarship offered annually - $2000 plus a year's free membership of the Society. Applicants will:
identify ethnically as Maori and be active in the Maori community;
be enrolled for a degree requiring a piece of research to fulfil the research requirements of either a Masters or higher level post-graduate degree in Psychology.
The research must be Maori-centred and of use to the Maori community;
Have career aspirations that indicate a desire to engage in further Maori-centred psychological research, and to work for the betterment of Maori.

Applications are considered by a Scholarship Review Panel, consisting of three psychologists, including the Society President (or their nominee), and two Maori jointly nominated by the Society's National Standing Committee on Bicultural Issues and the Maori Psychologists' Network.
