Membership Subscription Fees 2008/2009

The Society's financial year runs from June 1st to May 31st. A schedule of current subscription rates appears below. Annual subscription invoices are mailed to financial members in late May.

- Full Membership applicants pay an $80 application fee. Following confirmation, new Full Members are invoiced for the remainder of the financial year.

- Student Subscribers who join as Full Members within 12 months of completing the relevant qualification are eligible for a 50% fee discount in the first year.

This year there will be a fee increase after a period of little or no change in fees. Whilst we do not like having to increase fees we do need to ensure that we are able to keep up with inflation and manage the resulting increase in costs. The new subscription fees will be:

Member/Fellow/Associate Fellow - $370.00
Life Member - $100.00
Overseas Member - $160.00

Changes to late payment of fees
In the past members who have been late in paying their subscription fees have paid a pro-rata amount for the remaining period of that year. This process is not fair to the majority of the membership who pay their fees on time and therefore as of 1 June 2008 if existing members wish to continue to access the services and benefits provided by the Society, they will be required to pay the full subscription fee no matter how late that payment is.
