Workshop Proposal Form

Thank you for your interest in presenting a workshop for the NZ Psychological Society. We need to find out about you and the workshop you wish to present. This will assist us to select the most appropriate events for Members' ongoing professional development and facilitate promotion of your workshop if selected.

We aim to provide a vibrant, high quality workshop programme that makes real contribution to developing the skills and knowledge of participants. Feedback from previous events indicates that participants prefer presentations in which there is active involvement.

How Workshop Proposals are evaluated:

  • Relevance and importance of the topic to NZ psychologists

  • Presenter has demonstrable expertise in relation to workshop content

  • Workshop has clear learning objectives

  • Workshop will be presented in a way that actively engages participants and enhances their learning

Please complete the form below and submit by clicking the button at the bottom of the form. It will be sent to the NZPsS Professional Development Programme Manager, who will make contact with you within two weeks of receiving the form. If your Workshop is accepted you will be asked to sign a Presenter's Agreement confirming financial and other details. If you have any queries prior to making your submission, contact the Society's National Office (contact details are on the Home page).
