The Palmerston North Convention Centre, Palmerston North This conference was a great success with over 340 attendees. We had keynote speakers: John Briere, Kerry Chamberlain, Michael Corballis, Catherine Love & Moe Milne, Tim McCreanor, James Ogloff and invited guest speakers: Werner Naef, Tim Williams, Janet Leathem, Petra Buergelt (presenting on behalf of the team - Douglas Paton and David Johnston) Over 150 research papers were presented, and a number of rapid communication posters displayed.
A third of all attendees also participated in one of the half and full day stimulating and interactive workshops There were many opportunities to network with friends and colleagues. At the Welcome Reception the Society awards were celebrated and the recipients Sue Bradford, Philippa Howden-Chapman and Don Brown were present.
Feedback from delegates was very positive. When asked what they liked best many said: "variety of topics was excellent", "excellent keynote speakers", "realising there were always two rooms I'd like to be in", "went like clockwork", "networking with colleagues from around the country", "diverse nature of symposia", "relaxed atmosphere"
